Mesa, Ariz. — Dec. 22, 2025 — Mesa Community College (MCC) Music and Dance department will host a piano and orchestral instrument sale January 8–10, 2026 in the Music building (MU) on its Southern and Dobson Campus, 1833 W. Southern Ave., Mesa, AZ 85202. Free parking is available in the East Lot. The sale is made possible through a collaboration with the Rockley Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the support of music education.
“This partnership helps make quality instruments more accessible to students, families, and educators while strengthening music education in our community,” said Darin Shryock, chair of Mesa Community College’s Department of Music and Dance. “It’s a meaningful way to connect community members with the resources that support learning, creativity, and the arts.”
Appointments are required to view instruments on Jan. 8 and 9. The final sale on Saturday, Jan. 10 from 2-5 p.m. is open to the public, no appointments are necessary.
Private Appointments Available

Virtual appointments via Zoom are available and required for string instrument appointments.
About the instruments
The event will feature a broad selection of instruments, including grand and baby grand pianos, digital player grands, upright and hybrid pianos, digital pianos, as well as violins, violas, and cellos. The inventory list may be viewed at rockleyfamilyfoundation.org/mesacc.
Instruments range from student-level to professional models and include offerings from manufacturers such as Steinway & Sons, Yamaha, Seiler, Knabe, Roland and Italia Fine Violins. Most instruments are less than one year old, include 5–10-year service contracts, tuned and performance-ready, and are available with no-interest financing and delivery.
Purchasers should consult a tax professional to determine if a portion of the purchase may qualify as a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation.
Proceeds from the event will support arts programming and student learning opportunities.
