Our Annual Day of Giving
The Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation and all ten Maricopa Community Colleges came together on May 3, 2024 to help those who need it the most. Whether it’s for access to educational supplies or basic needs such as rent, food or transportation, Be a Student’s Hero will increase awareness and raise funds for students, so that they can focus on their education.
Learn About Our Needs
Greatest Needs Fund
Donations to the Greatest Needs Fund provide for immediate funding that urgently supports much-needed programs and initiatives and also bolsters emergency and scholarship funding. Additionally, matching donations within this fund enhance the support the Foundation can provide to students in underserved populations, which include: low income, first-generation, single parents, Dreamers and more.
Coyote Cupboard
Chandler-Gilbert’s food pantry is called the Coyote Cupboard, and you can find one on both the Pecos and Williams Campuses. Coyote Cupboards offer free non-perishable food, household items, and school supplies for CGCC students. COVID has taught us so much about ourselves and our students and emphasized our attention to the whole student and their experience. Operated in partnership with Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank, the Coyote Cupboard is dedicated to ensuring no one in our community goes hungry or without certain necessities. Items available include canned foods, pasta, snacks, drinks, toiletries and personal items.
General Fund
Your generosity, no matter how big or small, impacts and provides remarkable opportunities for students who are veterans, first-generation college students, athletes, artists and more as well as the faculty and staff who work diligently to make our campus exceptional.
Thank you, in advance, for making a difference by helping turn educational dreams into realities.
Greatest Needs Fund
The Greatest Needs Fund is our most flexible fund. It enables us to react quickly to urgent needs.
Student Emergency Fund
Your donation of any amount is appreciated and will help with the greatest immediate needs of our students in emergency situations. The GCC Student Emergency Fund will be available to help when "life happens" and keep our students focused on their academic and career goals. Many times, these emergency needs are what pushes a student to make a decision to stop attending their classes and with your help we hope to change that decision and make college life easier. Thank you for your generosity and support.
Greatest Need Annual Fund
Be a Force For Access and Opportunity.
Mesa Community College is dedicated to providing support to as many talented students as possible — to create the strongest, most diverse classes, an environment that’s rich in talent, and every opportunity imaginable for those who’ve worked hard and deserve this exceptional experience. Gifts to the MCC Greatest Need Annual Fund allow us to fund the most pressing needs as they arise to support this mission.
No matter the size of the gift, your support is also a vote of confidence — strengthening the connection of our Thunderbird community.
Student Success Scholarship
We invite you to give the gift of education and make an investment in the lives of our PVCC students. Your gift to the Student Success Scholarship Fund provides remarkable opportunities for students with the greatest need to afford a college education. Your donation will enable students to achieve their dreams, transform their lives and help continue building our community. Thank you, in advance, for supporting our PVCC Pumas!
Bumstead's Resource Room
Basic needs are fundamental resources that students need to fully engage in learning, and basic need insecurity has a direct impact on students’ well-being and success. Bumstead’s Resource Room provides shelf-stable food, personal hygiene products, school and child care supplies; and other critical resources to keep students enrolled and on track to complete their programs of study. Your gift makes a world of difference; thank you!
Rio Salado College Student Life Fund
The purpose of this fund is to support student programs to include projects, activities, marketing, stipends, fees, supplies, books or initiatives that impact the college and/or its students.
DeCabooter Family Scholarship
Scottsdale Community College (SCC) invites you to be a student's hero by giving the gift of education via the DeCabooter Family Scholarship.
Dr. Arthur DeCabooter served SCC students, faculty and staff as president from 1978 to 2008. Under his leadership, SCC became known for academic excellence.
When you invest in the lives of SCC students, you change their trajectory, positively impacting our entire community. When Dr. DeCabooter would talk about SCC, he always used to say, "Community is our middle name." He believed that our role at SCC was to send students out, better prepared for their next adventure, and he knew that they would live a better life, helping others, serving our community, and then raising their children to be even more successful.
Your gift to the DeCabooter Family Scholarship keeps his legacy of enabling students to achieve their dreams alive.
Thank you in advance for supporting SCC students!
