I am attending Estrella Mountain, majoring in cybersecurity, with plans to receive an associate’s degree and transfer my credits to a 4-year university like ASU or GCU.
I would like to extend my deepest gratitude for investing in me and my academic career. Having the great honor of receiving this scholarship will truly shift the way my entire school year pans out. With this much-appreciated financial support from you, I will be able to focus a lot more on my studies and increase my GPA to increase my chances of getting into more esteemed courses and communities when I transfer to a university. If it were not for this scholarship, I would work excessive hours to pay for my college and still try to maintain good grades and relationships with professors like in previous semesters. It would once again be a difficult reality. While this was very stressful I managed to be successful in all my classes nonetheless, which I believe is a testament to my work ethic and perseverance which I will not lose at any point during my life.
I would like to emphasize my gratitude for receiving this generous award and I stress the fact that this will not only help me situationally but only further fuel my motivation to continue working at my degree.
