On November 15th, the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation (MCCF) celebrates National Philanthropy Day, a day set aside to recognize and pay tribute to the contributions that philanthropy – and those active in the philanthropic community – have made to our lives, our communities, and our world.
MCCF would like to take this opportunity to once again express thanks to everyone who has come together in support of Maricopa Community College students and celebrate the tremendous impact that our giving community makes in support of their continued success.
“Our students are supported in so many ways, thanks to the generosity of our community,” said Brian Spicker, President and CEO of MCCF. “They have helped us to award 5,124 scholarships this year as well as emergency and basic needs support to an additional 1500 students. This totals $7.6 million that directly benefits students across our District!”
The dedication of our community in continuously giving support, helps to ensure that the Foundation is thriving, by carrying out their vision of providing students with the opportunity to improve their lives through education.
“On National Philanthropy Day and always, we thank you for your generosity, trust, and dedication,” said Spicker.
