With the upcoming retirement of Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation (MCCF) President and CEO, Brian Spicker, Judy Sanchez will serve as Interim President and CEO of the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation, effective June 1.
Ms. Sanchez brings more than two decades of dedicated service to the role and has been an unwavering advocate for student success. Her career began at Glendale Community College in 2000 as the Director of Development, a role she held for 14 years. Since joining MCCF in 2014, she has worked closely with Mr. Spicker to expand development efforts and strengthen relationships with donors and community partners, ensuring that more students can access the resources they need to thrive. She most recently accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer at MCCF to help manage its significant growth with greater efficiency and impact.
Additionally, Ms. Sanchez was recently honored as a recipient of the prestigious 2025 YWCA Tribute to Leadership Award, recognizing her enduring commitment to creating accessible opportunities for students from all backgrounds. We are grateful for her leadership during this time of transition.
In partnership with the Foundation Board, the Maricopa Community Colleges District leadership has launched a national search for a permanent President and CEO and will continue to advance the Foundation’s mission in support of our students and colleges.
