How Do You Set Up a NAMED Scholarship?

To have a NAMED Scholarship, you would establish an endowed scholarship fund at the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation. The minimum investment to establish a NAMED fund is $10,000.

The principle remains intact, and only the earnings of the fund are spent for annual scholarship awards in endowed funds. The fund remains in perpetuity so scholarships are issued in your name every year.

Gifts of any amount may be made to existing scholarship funds. There are a wide range of funds already in existence for particular MCCCD campuses or academic areas of study. There are also a number of demographic factors that funds can be designated toward.
