“My scholarship award will help my family very much in helping fund my first college semester at CGCC,” said Jaden, a Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) student. “I am going to major in business management because business has always interested me and it is useful in nearly every career path.”
Jaden has taken on a full course schedule, works part time and plays soccer. He’s been playing since the age of 5 as his mother had him start at a young age to keep him healthy.
Jaden was born with a rare heart condition and required open heart surgery at just 6 months old. His mother wanted to ensure that he would live a long, healthy life so she made sure he stayed active.
What are his plans for the future? Jaden says, “My mom is a Practice Manager for a Pediatric Therapy office, and I would like to follow in her footsteps and get a Management Degree.”
