I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for awarding me the Associate Degree Transfer Program Scholarship at South Mountain Community College (SMCC). It is an incredible honor to be chosen as a recipient, and I want to thank you for your generosity and support.
I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health Sciences at SMCC. I chose this program because of its strong emphasis on practical experience and its commitment to
addressing critical issues in mental health. My studies in this field are both inspiring and empowering, and I am eager to use my education to make a meaningful impact in the mental
health community after graduation.
This scholarship is making a significant difference in my life. It is allowing me to focus more on my studies and engage fully in my academic and extracurricular activities without the stress of financial concerns. As the current treasurer of the Mental Health and Well-Being Club, I have been actively involved in promoting mental health awareness on campus. I am also excited to
share that I have been recommended for the role of Vice President of the club this Fall, which will allow me to further contribute to our mission.
Beyond my academic and campus involvement, this scholarship also supports my efforts with my nonprofit organization, Pluralli. We are currently planning community outreach events and
developing new technologies to enhance mental health care. Your support is directly aiding these initiatives, which aim to make a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental
health challenges.
