I’m currently studying Medical Laboratory Science at Phoenix College. I chose this major because I’m really interested in how the human body works and I want to help doctors understand and diagnose illnesses. After graduation, I hope to work as a medical lab scientist and make a difference in patients’ lives.
This scholarship is a big help in making my education more affordable. It allows me to focus better on my studies and take part in important internships and activities without worrying too much about money.
I’m also involved in my community by helping out at a local center, where I plan and run events for kids. This has been a great experience for me and has helped me develop my leadership skills. Plus, I’m in the MAPPS transfer program with Arizona State University, which will help me reach my career goals.
