Rebecca

Gateway Community College

“I want to personally thank you for making it possible for me to pursue my dream of becoming a Radiology Technician,” said Rebecca, who is an honor student at GateWay Community College (GWCC) and member of Phi Theta Kappa. Rebbecca’s always loved learning about human anatomy and over the last few years she’s become fascinated with medical imaging as a way to diagnose and treat human diseases.

“This contribution allows me to afford all my books for the upcoming semester and has lightened my financial stress, which allows me to focus on my education” she said. “GWCC has one of the best accredited Radiology Technology programs in the state and I’m excited to be starting it in the fall.”

Upon graduation Rebecca hopes to continue her education and become certified as an MRI Tech. She’s also taking classes toward obtaining a BA in Diagnostic Medical Imaging and Therapy at Northern Arizona University. Her hope is to finish her education and certifications and to work in an outpatient diagnostic medical imaging clinic.

“I hope one day I will be able to give back to the community and help other students to achieve their goals as well,” she commented. “I’m sincerely grateful for the generosity and support I’ve received.”
